What happened to special characters o the translation page?

Sometime today, the translation page became unable to display any special character in translated text, what happened?

Really? What do you mean? Which page? /translate? /translations.php? individual pages?

The translation.php page. The characters are stored alright, but in the "xxx translated XYZ as xyz" bit, the characters are messed up.

e.g. "génèrera" for "génèrera" on the French side. I can't see a single Greek character in the recent translations list over at gr/translation
