What to call these?

What shall we call these? LibraryThing tag-hops? ThingHops? ThingWhacking? (by analogy with Googlewhacking)

"Six tags" ?

I'm sorry, Tim, but "ThingWhacking" has a slightly off-color ring to it. Or perhaps that's just my warped mind!

I vote for "ThingHops".

Does Del.icio.us have an API for related tags? I might just make a site for that...

I don't think they do. They do have an API but it only lets you retrieve/modify your own personal tags and posts. As far as I can tell there isn't a del.icio.us API for retrieving "meta" information such as "related tags". Which is too bad.

I like TagHopping and LibraryTag... but think of it myself as "Six Degrees of LibraryThing."

I'm with you, especially if someone accidentally hit an extra 'y' key. ThingyWhacking.
