Two girls transfer to each other's towns and schools
One of their grandpas has a mining accident
I think they were pen pals as well.
I read it six years ago and i'm guessing it was written at most ten years ago.
long title and may have had the word opal in it.
I think it was the two characters names
The cover was kind of hazy and light and the title was probably in cursive
I think there was a lot of green on it.
I've searched everywhere and I can not find it.
