Age 68, wow. My first thought when I read she keeps returning to Midway Atoll is of a piece I read showing all the plastic on remote islands in the Pacific, including dead ones with stomachs full. Somehow this bird must know not to eat it.
Maybe she knows because she remembers the old days before the ocean was full of plastic!
