Hello! I hope you lovely folks can help me out.
I’m trying to find a book I saw a few years ago in the sci-fi/fantasy section of a bookstore.
My big obstacle is that I only remember parts of the cover art.
Cover details I remember:
-Smallish paperback.
-Light-skinned blonde woman.
-The neckline of her top was lined with light-colored fur.
Details I’m less sure about:
-I think the main color of the cover was greenish.
-The woman’s hair may have been pulled back or braided.
-I think she had boots with fur lining, as well.
-I think she had a bow and arrows.
-I think she was in a field or on a mountain.
-I’m also pretty sure it was part of a series, but probably wasn’t the first book in the series.
I’m sorry if none of this info was useful.
Like I said, it was awhile ago, plus the more I try to remember, the less confident in the details I become.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Maybe look at The Valley of Horses, even if just to eliminate it?
Pros -- Originally published cover has a light-skinned blonde looking from the valley toward a mountain, shown from the back with long loose hair, wearing a fur/skin clothing, and holding a weapon (sling with stone, swinging upward). This is the second volume in a series.
Cons -- It's a pretty thick novel, I think it's usually shelved with general fiction, and it currently publishes with different coverart (which could play against you seeing the original cover 'a few years ago').

>3 juels:, yeah, made me think of Dragonlance too, lol. And yeah, talk about a while ago, check out the cover prices.
Best describes Goldmoon, imo; it's Tanis holding the bow, not Goldmoon, but easy mistake. Or maybeit's Kitara on the green cover from the third book.

For some reason I was reminded of Green Rider by Kristen Britain, even though not many of the details match. Thought I'd throw it out there just in case!

>4 Cecrow: No kidding. If only they were still that price.
Tika is on the third cover. I believe it is Kitiara in the armor on the second cover.

>6 juels:, really? Well that's just great - so I've had this misconception for thirty years, lol. And I thought Tika was the redhead on the Winter cover, apparently that's Laurana.

And there's the Spring cover, darnit.

>7 Cecrow: I know what you mean. It took me a while to realize who was in armor on the second cover.

Wow, I didn’t expect anyone to actually reply. Thank you so much!
Unfortunately, I don’t think any of those were it.
I’m pretty sure she was by herself on the cover.
But that’s fine! Because the reason I was looking for it was to find something to get back into reading with, and those all look interesting.
Thanks again for the replies!!
Even if they aren’t the book I was looking for.

Maybe the more recent Truthwitch?

If it is not Valley of the Horses, as MyriadBooks suggested, it may be one of the other books from the series. It's called the Earth Children series by Jean Auel, beginning with Clan of the Cavebear. The main character is blond and wears animal furs. Her weapon initially is a sling, but she and her companion develop a weapon in the later books similar to a bow and arrow.

Jean Auel won't be in the fantasy/sci-fi section, though.
It's hard if not impossible for LT to conjure up a wall of fantasy book cover images to quickly look through; I can do it for what's in my collection or under a specific tag search, but "fantasy" would be a pretty broad tag. Maybe you'd have better luck with scanning through pinterest images? https://www.pinterest.ca/anyaejo/new-sci-fi-and-fantasy-book-covers/
