If I open the Android app and choose Your Catalog, I get a list: Your Books, Collections, Authors, Tags...
When I choose Tags, the list of my tags appears with the number of titles in parentheses. Great. I click on a tag (SFF (254) in particular, I have not thoroughly checked other tags). The number of titles actually displayed (I counted) is 230, not the promised 254.
I was looking for which Anne Bishop books I own. 7 books are listed. If I begin again with my catalog and look by Authors, Anne Bishop has 9 books listed, including Marked in Flesh and Etched in Bone which didn't appear in the SFF tag list. Checking the tags for both books shows that they are both tagged as SFF, just like all her other books. This doesn't happen on the website. Only in the Android app.
Since only 230 of the 254 SFF tagged books show up, other authors are affected too, and I suspect something to do with my tags, not this author in particular.

I am getting the exact same issue (using the LT android app on Samsung Galaxy Note 10). However, I think I have pinpointed the issue which should be an easy fix for the app designer (please read to the end).
Specifically, the number in brackets beside the tag is displaying the correct number in category (verified using website) but when tap on it and open it up, I am seeing less books.
For me it is easiest to see with the tag "have read". On the app I have the number (141) in brackets. When I open it up, there are only 101 books displayed.
Similarly, next to my "Unread" tag the number of books is (38) but inside there are only 37.
Again next to "Currently reading" (7) but displays only 6.
I had a look at what all the missing books have in common and they are all books that I do not own (i.e. not under the "your library" collection).
It seems that the number in brackets is being taken from the "All collections" statistics, but the actual books displayed is from the "your library" collection.
Would it be possible to update the next build where it shows all the books when you tap on a tag? (across "all collections" and not just the ones in "your library")?
(On a similar note, a similar thing is happening when you click on "Your catalog" on the main screen followed by "All books". The number in brackets says 223 which is correct, but when I tap on it, it shows only 151 which is the exact number in "your library". 2 bugs for the price of 1 fix!) :D
Thanks in advance!

Same as this bug, https://www.librarything.com/topic/321380

I ran into this problem this week. (I just downloaded LibraryThing earlier this month and am still getting to know it.) This forum has been very helpful, and in the other thread https://www.librarything.com/topic/321380 I described my workaround.

If this is the same bug as >3 Taliesien:, let's close this one and focus the posts onto the that one.
