His first book was published in 2012

His first book is the first of a trilogy

His first book is an Amazon best seller

One of his book series has a female protagonist (this book series may not be the trilogy)

one of his books has the female protagonist being sexually assaulted

He lives somewhere in Houston, Texas

Do you know for certain that the author is a man? What is the genre? I assume the books are fiction, but are they mystery/thrillers or something else?

Does he write young adult or regular adult?
Do you remember anything about the covers?

Are you certain it’s not Justin Cronin? It really sounds like “the passage”..a girl is captured and it’s the first in a trilogy and the sequel is from 2012..

>12 Lexster: Amy (the main character in The Passage isn't sexually assaulted.
