>1 busywine: I have enjoyed being educated by your superb book articles and I am glad you are to continue. You have caused me to spend way too much on the fine editions you write about, but I am so glad to have the books.

Great article, but you can't click on the pictures to have a better look. If I click on them, I get "Alert: Content is protected !!" error.

I must be towards the end of the queue as I got on the list this February, so my copy must be a few months away. I'm salivating looking at the preview of what I would eventually receive!

Btw, what are you thoughts on the binding?

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, no longer supporting the click to enlarge feature for various reasons. I like the binding. The Cave paper is, as always, nice, and I think it apropos to the completely hand-made nature of everything in the edition, as well as to the design as a whole. Let me know what you think once you receive yours!!!

In the end, I'm happy with the Cave paper binding as well. There is a really nice solander box so the book won't be damaged while on the shelf.

>4 busywine: I really like your interview questions.

I fail to understand why this edition has not sold out. Though this might be the most expensive book I've ever bought, I don't understand how they're selling 90 copies for only $1200. Hand made paper, an incredible amount of hand work, two people's work for a year - this book is a steal. It's simply gorgeous, I can't recommend it enough.

Hard to fathom. I don't think any of their books have sold out.
Even their Petrarch is still available, an incredible bargain at the published price.

That Petrarch is one fantastic book.

A review of:The Great War Poets - Rupert Brooke, Selected Poems; Edward Thomas, Selected Poems; and Wilfred Owen, Selected Poems, The Folio Society Limited Editions, are up at Books and Vines.

BTW, two of these are at a significantly reduced price right now at Folio's annual LE sale. At $210, or something like that, these are pretty great deals.
