This touches on a touchy subject--Don't vote for Jill Stein no matter what you think of Hillary because Trump must lose--and not merely this note by Stein, but Hillary's recent Gabbard balderdash and, well, other things, should put that matter to rest once and for all.

Many of my friends chose Stein (I chose abstinence), and I was appalled at the vitriol aimed their way, the self-righteousness of those who quite likely would not have thought twice about voting for Obama over Clinton in a primary (that's a guess).

A fragment of the Democratic part came unhinged over this...I hope that a barmy Hillary will prove a balm.

I haven't seen nearly as much pushback on the Clinton frothing as I'd like. But might be just me.

HRC is not going to leave her quiet, comfortable NY life. Fifty years in the trenches was enough.

"trenches"?

Poor, poor Hillary beccame the state of Arkansas's First Lady when her husband, Bill, became governor for the first time in the election of November, 1978. In his career as Arkansas governor, husband Bill was "(elected five times over two distinct terms)" (Wikipedia). Her time there was such an ordeal that, every two years since the gubernatorial election of 1982, that is, after the close of his first term as governor, over the nine years from January of 1983 to December of 1992, Hillary put up with returning again and again to make do living in the dump which was known as the Governor's Mansion. All told, her time there with husband Bill came to just one month shy of twelve (Wikipedia) of those thirty years in the "trenches". (See photos and virtual-tour here: https://mansiontour.ark.org/ )

Then, subsequent to that ordeal, for another eight of those thirty terrible years the "trenches" looked a lot like this, in which, as you'll see, others have suffered, too. in most of the following, it happens that we see the Obama family suffering but one might just as well picture Hillary Clinton suffering here : https://www.politico.com/gallery/a-look-inside-the-white-house?slide=0

O!, the "horror"! Not for the weak-hearted, these! :

Dare you look upon the trenches of the Yellow Oval room!? (30), or The Blue room (25)?, the Green room (26)?, how about the China room (14)? the Vermeil Room (15)?, the Red room (24)?, the movie-theatre (38)?, the Rose garden (40)?, the Putting-green (41)?, the swimming-pool (42)?, or the basketball court (43)?...

Poor, poor, Hillary! The dear! nearly twelve years in the trenches of the Arkansas governor's mansion and another eight or so in the trenches of the White House--that makes almost twenty of her thirty years in the trenches! The poor thing!

And she was ready to sacrifice herself to go through all that again!--at the trouble of raising many millions of dollars for an election campaign! Think of it! No wonder they're called our "public-servants", right!?

NOTE: I'm in no way a particular "fan" of Jill Stein and, as for The Guardian (London) newspaper, regular readers of my posts will already know how much I detest that utter piece-of-shit "newspaper."

But, when Stein gets something useful right, I'm not averse to noticing and appreciating it--even if it appears in The Guardian's pages.

I might as well leave this space open for "up-dates" as this truly amazing fucking "whack-job" known as Hillary Clinton seems to have much more in store for us. She has really "lost it" and, asumiing she even has someone in her circle of advisors who is still in touch with reality and can still reach her, someone should speak to Clinton and gently inform her that she's doing a very good job of denmonstrating the "what", "how" & "why" of Trump's election to the presidency in 2016 as a saving grace.

Hillary Clinton called me a 'Russian asset'. The establishment is losing its grip
The McCarthyist smear against the Green party shows the lengths to which Clinton will go to blame others for her 2016 defeat | by Jill Stein | Thursday, October 24th, 2019

_____________________________

"Like her attack on Tulsi Gabbard, Hillary Clinton’s accusation that I am a “Russian asset” is a ludicrous, unhinged conspiracy theory with no basis in fact. It’s also an attempt to deflect attention from the role of Clinton’s campaign in her own defeat. This desperate blame game is not an encouraging sign that the Democratic party will muster a winning strategy to oust the disastrous Trump administration in 2020. Equally alarming, the Clinton camp’s attempts to shift responsibility for their electoral failure to “Russian assets” has fueled a new era of McCarthyism - a toxic brew of warmongering, political repression and censorship now poisoning our public discourse.
...

"Confronting the real reasons for Clinton’s loss would open a much-needed conversation about why the Democratic establishment opposes progressive policies that are broadly popular - such as Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, free public higher education, and other programs to improve working people’s lives. They would have to reckon with the unpopularity of their disastrous foreign policy of global military domination. These discussions would threaten not only the mega-donors funding the Democratic party machine, but also the power of the Clinton-Obama neoliberals who made their careers serving those donors.

"So instead the Clintonites blame their defeat on Russia and smear their opponents as “Russian assets”. This is classic McCarthyism, recalling a shameful period of paranoid hysteria and political repression." ...

I'm actually sorry to say this: Concerning the idiocy that is Hillary Clinton's current part in the national politics of the United States, the American public actually had this coming. Fucking sad. But that's a fact.
