Guido,
Thanks for the link and taking me away from my desk job for 10 minutes. Great pictures.

Testing…

I have this image in my LT gallery. How do I get it to show up here?

You need to use html rather than just the link.

Use the following between angle brackets: img src="https://pics.cdn.librarything.com//picsizes/29/d1/29d1153da0d156063716763664141514468414f_v5.jpg"

Puss, from the pair: Puss & Boots

I will keep working on it. I put the brackets in but it now it shows up blank when I save the message. Very strange.

Added a space between img and src. Now I get the blue box with the question mark. I guess that is better than nothing…

ETA: OK, now it works!! I had quotation marks around the https line and that is what was blocking everything! Yay!

Here is Puss's sister, Boots

Hmm, works for me. Be sure you're using angle brackets, not square brackets, and no spaces.

>9 lilithcat: I think I am using angle brackets. Those are the ones that look like "less than" and "greater than" signs. Is that correct?

Is there a space between "img" and "src"?

Thank you!

Yes, angle brackets are the "less than" and "greater than".

There is a space between "img" and "src"

In the finest tradition of bookstores, I have professional Bibliocats. Isis is mostly retired (she's twenty years old), but Moonshadow has stepped up to be the full-time on-site face of the Book Haven. Isis is the beautiful black girl on the left.

Boots at her printer job.

I will have to upload some photos of our newest cats: Koro-chan and Chibi-chan!

>15 Taphophile13: They both thank you for the compliments. (And I hear that in Elizabeth Bennet's voice, of course). Moonshadow already had his name when he came to work with us, so I can't take credit. But from the beginning Her Grace seemed to demand some kind of Divine moniker, and appeared somewhat Egyptian in demeanor... so she became Isis.

>16 krazy4katz: Absolutely! Over the years I've a a very few negative reactions, to which I could barely hold my tongue on "Don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out..." Especially the wench who shoved Mooney off the counter. "I don't do CATS." Moonshadow lives in the store full-time; this is his HOME. I didn't say anything out loud but did make a fuss over ensuring he was all right after his ill treatment before I checked out her purchases. Oddly, she never came back. Shame, that.

New kittens! This is Thor (left) and Freya (right).

They are about 6 weeks old in this picture, now about 8 weeks.

>22 al.vick: OMG, what delightful cuties.

Beware of toe bites at this stage :D My kittens loved to sneak up when I'm reading in bed or a recliner and bite my toes out of nowhere

They are lovely! And I do need to point out that, according to Norse mythology, the goddess Freyja drove a chariot drawn by cats.
