Sounds like CP is going to publish "Something Wicked This Way Comes"

A nice choice. Gauntlet Press released a signed copy many years ago. Gauntlet Press books are bare-bones for the most part, although they do have the author's signature.

>1 astropi: Looking forward to the Vladimir Zimakov illustrations.

I think Bradbury probably signed more books in his life than any other author. I remember reading somewhere that he once signed a "limited" edition of 10,000 copies.

>2 kdweber: Yeah, numerous editions of his were signed. Still, I like signatures and I like Ray Bradbury :)

It was most probably for a Franklin Library edition of his work.
Still, in our times, I have a feeling that Neil Gaiman can give any author a run for their money in terms of number of books he has signed.

I have but 7 Bradbury books of which 4 are signed (2000 copies, 2000 copies, 1000 copies, 1000 copies). At this point I don't really care if I get another signature. I'll probably pick up a copy of Something Wicked for the illustrations.

Usually this would be a pass for me as I'm not that interested in reading this genre anymore. But for Zimakov illustrations I might consider it once I know the price.

>9 jveezer: just make sure you're not sorry later. I think we've all been there where we say "no way! simply can't afford it" and then later it eats at us, but of course it's sold out and second-hand prices are up, up, up!

>11 astropi: I'm getting my Zimakov fix with the upcoming The Wind in the Willows and also have the UK edition of Hag-Seed for which he did a great cover. So I'll be OK. ;)
