Since being briefed on this intelligence, what has Trump done to protect American soldiers from enemies foreign? Well, he unilaterally invited Russia to rejoin the G-7; he announced that he was withdrawing US troops from Germany. Two actions that betray America.

We are at war in Afghanistan against the Taliban, despite any words of a peaceful nature on paper. Anyone who aids the enemy by commission or omission (I 'forgot' to lock the castle gate.) is a traitor.
All the military service loving Republican senators had better have VERY good explanations for refusing to vote to convict if Trump's second impeachment trial happens.

Sounds to me like Trump sprung his own October Surprise on his campaign, only it got out in June. Country waits to see if the Republican Denial Machine will throw a rug over this, or if this will spur House Democrats to launch a second impeachment before Trump exits, stage ignominy.

Trump has pushed Benedict Arnold off the map. Vet group labels him “America’s number one traitor.”

It's a thorough, dispassionate, stunning and well deserved indictment of a person who does nothing to honor his office nor his function as C-in-C. Shame and danger are all that Trump offers servicemembers and vets. And America.

The press in substantiated stories, individual citizens in letters to editors, former members of Trump's campaign and administration in public interviews, Republican challengers to Trump for president in campaigning, and Renounced Republicans in tweets have been expressing arguments that Trump is a traitor for years. Now, retired military, veterans, and increasingly, active duty military are speaking out making the argument, as well as organizing in reaction to it. Even nationally recognized legal minds in podcasts and an economist who has served in or advised presidential administrations since Gerald Ford, have laid out arguments supporting the charge.

Hundreds, if not thousands whose strength of character stands in stark contrast to Trump's lack of same demonstrate that carefully argued positions making serious and credible arguments showing the actual treason of a reprobate who throws baseless charges of "treason" at American servicemembers, elected politicians, dissenters, and social justice protestors will not be viewed dismissively by voters in November. People are "woke" to Trump's most basic danger to the country and are saying so out loud.
