A boy finds a portal in an old forest to a secret world where he meets a brother and sister. The boy is enchanted with the sister and ends up falling in love with her. One day the boy tries to enter her world through the portal but he no longer sees the brother and sister. He continues to come back to the spot of the portal but he gives up when substantial time passes and he hasn't seen them. Over time, he forgets the girl, attends middle school, uni, gets a job and marries another woman. The girl comes back from the portal and enters the boy's world after she cannot find him around the wooded area where they used to meet. However, lots of time has passed and the boy is now a married man. The girl is envious and seeks revenge. She seduces the now-married man. She has the ability to turn into a cat. One day, she crawls into the boy's bed and scratches the boy all over his back (she then turns into a cat when his wife walks into the bedroom)- The wife knows what's going on but she can't quite explain it. The girl causes strange things to happen to the wife and the boy and wife have marital breakdown. The girl maintains a connection to her other "portal world" and cannot appear in the "real" world for too long. I believe her brother is somehow killed at some point (I think she kills him?)
