Adult romance story - Second chance at love & failing resort/hotel

I’m looking for an adult romance story but I cannot remember the characters’ names. It would be a romance about two people who were friends and fell in love as teenagers but they were separated/broke up. When they’ve grown up, the female character is managing a failing resort/hotel with her mother. Then the male character came to take over the resort/hotel. They started a love-hate relationship and eventually the female character falls in love again. But the male character’s mother came to the resort/hotel and she disapproves of the relationship. She offered something (either a deal or money) to the female character. The female character confessed to the male and he started to distant himself since he was disappointed eventhough the female is already in love with him. Later on he realised he’s still in love with her and secretly arranged for a proposal for her with the help of the resort/hotel worker. One day he organised a meeting to inform all the employees that he is leaving the resort since he managed to prevent it from failing. But then he confessed during meeting that she is in love with the female character. He proposed later on and they got together.

Hello! I don't know this book unfortunately, but I do remember a multi-author series from Harlequin based around a resort. Could one of the books be the one you're remembering? Series is called Bride's Bay Resort.
