I know almost nothing about this book series. I saw one of the books in the series being recommended on a list about cute book couples a while ago, and i thought that I had written the name down but I've just found out that I haven't and I really want to read this. Please help me find this!!
What I remember:
* It's a book series with a LOT of books
*I'm fairly certain is chick-lit but i could be urban fantasy???
* The main character is a woman and she is fun, quirky, girly, over the top in a becky bloom type of way
* The series is light-hearted and funny to read
* I think the main character lives in a small town
* She investigates crimes and other weird stuff that happens in her town
*She has a love interest who helps her with the investigations and it takes a few books for them to get together
* The book where they get together was the one that was recommended on the list I saw. It had a weird quirky title. Something completely random. The cover was fun and colorful i think.
I know is not much but all help is appreciated!!

I thought of Meg Cabot's Heather Wells mysteries (the first one is Size 12 Is Not Fat), but there are only two or three of those, so I'm not sure they're a good match.

This isn't chicklit but maybe the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones? She is a private investigator and they don't "get together" until a few books in. There are 13 books in the series.
