The book was fiction. It has moments of drama, suspense, and romance.
I listened to the audiobook form about 8-10 years ago because my library didn't have the physical copy.
Plot: The main character finds out she is pregnant when she goes to her dead mother's old cancer doctor who has been helping her lose weight. Her mother was a hoarder? The father of the main character's baby is the old man she swims laps with at the local pool to lose weight. The main character's high school reunion is going on at the same time she finds out she is pregnant and her successful ex-best friend is accidentally involved in a hit and run. The ex-best friend panics and goes to her old friend's house to hide from the police because she thinks she killed the old high school bully.
