Who has read books by David Treuer? Multiple titles? What are your favorites? I am looking at the non-fiction "The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee: Native America from 1890 to the Present" and "Rez Life" to begin with. It is very interesting to me that David Treuer grew up on the Ojibwe reservation on Leech Lake, an area that is very familiar to me. What a brilliant man he appears to be - reading his biography, bits of his books and reviews draw me to his intellect and humor. Any thoughts?

David Treuer No. Nothing. My library doesn't have anything either.

>1 Shookie:

I haven't read anything by him; indeed, the name is new to me.

However, my library has several of his books, both fiction and non-fiction, so perhaps I'll give him a try.

It occurs to me that you might find readers of Treuer in the Indigenous Peoples group: https://www.librarything.com/ngroups/10198/Indigenous-Peoples
