Having been distracted (very well!) last year by a pair of online reading groups, I'm AGAIN going to start the year reading my "thicker" volumes that I haven't tackled before (mainly classics). I'll intersperse them with lighter (meaning, "quicker") reading. Wish me luck!

Hi BookDoc16. Good to see you back again for some ROOTing in 2022.
I hope your reading is good and nice. Thicker books are a real challenge, so good luck with that.
Don't forget to join the group and creating a ticker to copy to the ticker-thread.

Welcome back! Good strategy to alternate thick books with lighter ones.
6Jackie_K
Good luck! Hope you succeed with the thicker books (I can only cope with them occasionally!).

>2 connie53: I'm a memeber of the group, but I've never used the ticker. How does one start that?

Addendum: I realized that many of my ROOT books are parts of several series. Accordingly, I've decided that most of the "lighter" volumes I'll be interspersing will be from my various series: Erle Stanley Gardner, Walter Mosley, Guy Gavriel Kay, Alexander McCall Smith, Susan H. Elgin, Anne Hillerman, to name a few. Onward!
