Hi! I'm new to this group (which is dormant as I type this). I've been on LT since 2006 and I've been a pilot since 1999. I currently own and fly a 1964 Beech Bonanza S35. I'm going to start a few new topics to see if the pilots and aviation enthusiasts on LT will materialize. Speak up if you're around!

Thought I would say hello. I've been a pilot since 1976. My wife is a pilot also. We have a 1976 Commander 114 and a 1964 Piper Cherokee 160. I am fairly new to LT and am enjoying it. I don't have my library all in yet. I spend too much time reading them. This evening I have been entering some of the aviation books in the collection. I have just enjoyed looking over Flying and How to Do It (1932) by jordanoff . He uses a icon of a pilot with angel wings to give sage advice, There are also comments like "Different types of aircraft are as individual as different horses, and behave accordingly. Fly them with extra care the first time." The safety of flying is described as "Statistics show there are more people hurt by mules than by airplanes." Reading a 1932 book about flying may differ in the delivery of the message but not the logic. I look forward to hearing your topic ideas.
