second chance romance ex boyfriend asks help from our main girl to convince his current girlfriend to marry him

The book is basically a triology where the guy asks help from ex girlfriend to convince his now girlfriend to marry him. She does so. There is tension ofcourse but they do get married. But later on in the books when the girl finally sort of moves on the ex comes back. Can somebody help me out?
