This was part of my childhood library, read from 2004-2008, probably published earlier.
This was a smaller, paperback children's book with many different drawing tutorials for animals. It was definitely more cartoonish, and I remember a section of Australian animals, specifically a wombat and a frilled lizard. I believe the cover was blue with red text. Let me know if you want/need more specifics!

Can you rule out Ed Emberley? He did a lot of how-to-draw books, based on simple shapes.

There's the "Draw 50 . . . " series by Lee J. Ames. Might it be Draw 50 Animals?

Search Australia, draw animals.

>2 Kathy_Moon: It's not Ed Emberley, the drawing style was more comic book, Disney hand-drawn animation style

>3 Hope_H: No, that was a good guess though. The book was definitely landscape, not portrait (if that makes sense).
