I think I'm losing some of my ability to digest dairy. Weep for me. I am using the dairy products with lactose enzyme added, or popping one of the pills, but they only help so much. :o(

Sigh. Yes, the struggle is real. I still love cheese, but consuming it comes at a serious price to my digestive system.

On the other hand, by eliminating cheese and butter from my diet I quickly lost 15 lbs!

I haven't lost any weight, but the puffy feeling in my stomach improved.

And I am happy to say I can eat hard cheeses without much issue, as long as I don't have any wine. *she said through her tears*

I found a lactose free half & half which is making my life a lot better, too.

So, it seems I am not lactose sensitive after all, but was just taking too many acid reducers! Jubilation!
