The story is set in kind of Victorian style. The main character is a girl who marries a guy because of her circumstances and moves to his country house and farm. She don't know he owns the place and thinks he's just a care taker. She have a infant with her who's her friend's child. The friend dies while childbirth when both of them where travelling through Egypt and nobody helped them at the time of delivery because the native people around there believed these womenfolks's hair color is cursed.
Later the hero and heroin falls in love and with the child becomes a happy family.
I read this books years back and forgot the name. I was very impressed by the fictional background setup of the story. So please help me if know the name of the book or auther.
