No, I don’t think so.

Not read one of these in a long time but feels a longer and more in-depth book than some.

>4 Andrew-theQM: I’m enjoying this one - some of his past works have been too gory for me, and I marked them low, accordingly.
However, the killer has stated his intent to ‘lose the nice guy’, to punish Fisher’s open mockery of him. So things could get quite grizzly…

I’ve just had another thought, and I could be totally barking up the wrong tree, but is there a slight possibility the girl the killer is after is Fisher’s daughter?

>7 Sergeirocks: That’s a good point as she was the person doing the press conference. About to go into the last section.

I also think he is after Fischer’s daughter..to teach Mom a lesson..

What did you all make of chapter 64, with the young girl going to meet the man every Friday for the past month…hoping to get him to love her. I got the impression she was the girl from the news clipping…and therefore the killer’s next victim. But by the end of this section I started to wonder if she’s Fisher’s daughter. Could the killer have found her once he learned Fisher was heading the investigation. If so, it makes it more clear she is who he will target.

>9 bluebird_: When I read ch 64, bluebird, I felt from the girl’s demeanour that she was either very young (just wanting to hold hands; just wanting him to love her) or very innocent (which would fit in with Heather’s Down’s Syndrome).
In the end, I concluded Heather was the better fit for the story.
