When I use the new green Add button, one if the default collections it chooses is one I seldom use. I need to use advanced settings and un check that collection every time that I add a book. How do I change the default collections it uses?

>1 MDGentleReader: When you do not go to advanced settings you can only add to Your Library or Wishlist, based on which button you click. It should not be adding to any other collections when you do not open the advanced settings.

I have this same question . . . but this post from 3 years ago was never answered, so if I don't get an answer I will try reposting the question somewhere else.
Just for the record:
Mine does NOT default to Your Library or Wishlist as indicated in >2 knerd.knitter: above. It defaults to TWO other collections . . . and both are different from what LT uses on my Add books page . . . so I have no clue where they come from.

>4 LucindaLibri: I believe it is supposed to be the ones you have selected on the Add Books page, so if it isn't then I think there's a bug. I will look into it.

>4 LucindaLibri: From what I can tell, it does what's on your Add Books page plus the Your Library collection, if it's not selected on your Add Books page. Is that what you see? It probably shouldn't be adding the Your Library collection unless there's nothing else selected.

This appears to be fixed.

I see my Collection No consistently. That collection is for books that I might be tempted to read, but for various reasons, have decided that I will not want to read. It is also books that should not be included in recommendations. I have to uncheck it under Advanced Add each and every time I add a book to my to read collection.

>8 MDGentleReader: When I just logged in as you, I only saw To Read on the Add Books page as well as on the Quick Add lightbox when I opened Advanced Settings.

For the first time, my NO collection was not checked when i added a book to To Read collection. You scared Advanced Add into behaving. Thank you!
I will add that if I add books to other collections often enough using Advanced Add, they show up as selected under Advanced Add. Sounds like that is a feature.

still not working right for me. Just used it. I had "Currently Reading" selected on the add books page but the add with the green button used "your library".
If I'm adding a book I now own to LT (what I restrict Your Library to) I dont use the green botton, I go to the add books page . . . for me the green add button is to quickly add some book I heard mentioned and want to remember.
In any case, still broken for me. ☹️
And definitely no longer "quick" . . . I always have to go to the new record and change the collection.

>12 LucindaLibri: Quick question: Are you clicked on the "Add to Your Library" button or opening up Advanced Settings and looking at your collections there? Because clicking "Add to Your Library" adds to just the Your Library collection.
