Hi All! I'm happy to announce that the February Early Reviewers batch is live!
The batch this month contains 156 titles, with 2,970 copies.
As a reminder: please be aware that you now have the possibility of winning more than two titles through ER—up to four per month, depending upon your Reviewing Score. See our announcement thread HERE for more details, and check your ER Settings page to make sure you have the correct number of titles selected.
So... which books are you hoping to win this month? https://www.librarything.com/ner

OK, Im now a newish grandma now so I am requesting many children's books that I don't have a lot of genre in my library... I would love to win one or two of these type of books to share with my grand babies:).

>6 erinclark: I could be wrong, but I think the algorithm works such that your chances of winning a book in a particular genre are greater if you have similar books in your library, thus presumably indicating that you might follow through and read/review a book like that. Maybe you could add some of the published children's books that your grandkids have, or you think they would like, to "wishlist" or "read but unowned" and it might help.
Just a thought.

The bug I reported here stops me from applying my preferred genre filters: https://www.librarything.com/topic/348216 :(

Was there a book withdrawn from this batch? I could have sworn The Pearl: A Book of Facetiae and Voluptuous Reading was on offer from Mint Editions, but I don't see it listed. I'm not using any filters, so was it withdrawn or did I hallucinate it?

>9 amanda4242: https://www.librarything.com/work/3209526/book/234229270 so it was definitely there.
I do not see it anymore either.

>11 amanda4242: I don't see it on Amazon either so I wonder if it was a mistake from the publisher (sent too early) or they decided to give up on publishing it) or something like that. Hopefully Abigail will have some news on what happened here later this week :)

>12 AnnieMod: The publisher has it listed on their website with a 1/17/23 publication date, and links to retail sites. https://www.westmarginpress.com/mint-editions-books/book-details/9781513137551/t...

>13 amanda4242: Ha. Amazon was only showing me and older edition no matter how I was looking. Now it shows this one. The mystery deepens. :)

>9 amanda4242: Yes! My apologies for the confusion. I often will post, here in the group, when a giveaway has been cancelled, but I forget to do so with this one.
The giveaways for "The Pearl: A Book of Facetiae and Voluptuous Reading" has been cancelled, as the publisher has decided not to go ahead with publication.

>15 AbigailAdams26: They're not going ahead with publication, but their website said it was published last month and it's for sale on Amazon? Very strange, but thanks for letting us know.

>16 amanda4242: That was the information given to me. I'm not sure why it's still present on their site and Amazon—perhaps not updated yet? In any case, I'm very sorry if you had hoped to win this one.
