tag page showing no tagged works when the search page does

Doing a tag search for 'virtual reality' (https://www.librarything.com/search.php?search=virtual+reality&searchtype=tags&searchtype=tags&sortchoice=0&optionidreal=2) where the first hit has 3770 uses. Clicking through to the linked page (https://www.librarything.com/tag/virtual+reality) and there are no tagged works, regardless of which category I pick.
Initially, the first page didn't show the number; I realised I was logged out and once logged in there are numbers for each tag; the no works was not solved by this.
Repeatable with several other tags from that original search page (I have tested the first ten; before working out there was a systematic problem I had clicked through to some of the mor interesting tags and shrugged that there were no works).
Attempted to repeat with 'young adult' (https://www.librarything.com/search.php?search=young+adult&searchtype=tags&searchtype=tags&sortchoice=0&optionidreal=2); the first option on that won't load; the second is showing the same issue.
Searching for 'adult' works fine.

I'm seeing the same thing on multi word tags, if I change the + between the words of the tag to a space in the url the works appear. A useful workaround but a fix is needed.
