Android App Crashed: "Something went wrong with LibraryThing. LibraryThing closed because this app has a bug."

I've been working on cataloging my late Father's books on a separate LibraryThing account. I've been using my laptop to add books manually and then using the Android App to take pictures of book covers. Today when I went to "Your Catalog" the recently added books were not showing up, but they did appear in the "Add to Catalog" section. I was able to add 2 book covers and then the App crashed and said to clear the cache. I started over and added a couple more book covers and then it crashed again and said:

"Something went wrong with LibraryThing. LibraryThing closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error."

I have been able to verify this bug in another account, after a member reached out via email. This member is not able to add a few books first, however.

The app automatically closes whenever you tap on either the Your Catalog or Add to Catalog page options, from the homepage.

Once the app closes, an error message appears, advising that the app has a bug, and to clear caches (as Ciarda reported above). Doing so has no effect on the situation.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Log into the "Ligeia_Laura12" account in the Android app.
2. Tap on "Your Catalog" or "Add to Catalog" page options
3. The app will close, and you will receive the error message about the app having a bug, and advising you to clear caches.
4. Clear caches, as advised.
5. Open the app again
6. Tap on "Your Catalog" or "Add to Catalog" page options
7. The app will close again

Note: The other page options—Cover Explorer, News and Account—all load, and do not cause the app to close in this account.

Just bumping this, as I have now heard back from the member who originally emailed me, mentioned in post #2. I have verified that the issue is still ongoing, by following the steps outlined above.

Bumping this again, as I have been contacted by another member experiencing the exact same issue as described in post #2. The app automatically closes, when attempting to access the Your Catalog or Add to Catalog pages. An error message appear, saying that the app has a bug, and advising the member to clear caches. This has no effect.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Log into the "SuzanneBosveld" account in the Android app.

Bumping this report, as I have had another member reach out with this issue. Attempting to open either the "Your Catalog" or "Add to Catalog" pages causes the Android app to close.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the "AntonioGallo" account in the Android app.
2. Tap on "Your Catalog" or "Add to Catalog" page options
3. The app will close

Note: The member mentions receiving a similar error message to the one reported in previous posts. I was able to verify the app closing in their account, although I didn't receive the message in this case.

Have we gotten past the "two weeks" for the new app yet?
