This is a thread where I want people to purposely write bad stuff about this book so we could keep average eyes away from our discussion.
Please if you join this discussion write only bad stuff about this book and attack me on personal basis, so you all pretend to have a very bad opinion about the book.
The reason for this you all know - whenever somebody starts to leak informations from the book thread gets deleted.
Btw, this is not my idea - on all internet you have many encrypted discussions where people pretend to dislike the book so they could even discuss it without getting banned from the forum, so on the internet you will find this very weird thing - hardcore fans saying bad stuff about the book.
Yes, it's that dangerous to even mention it.
After the first fifteen-twenty posts I will delete all my posts with information I shared - coming form the book - so only this first 15 posts will remain, and that way we will have en-coded discussion.
Anybody reading this later will think you were just another group of people that had very bad opinion on the book and we will hide all trace on what we really discussed here.
Im reading on Quora people have different theories. But its all just theories. The whispers of this are not stoping. NIGHT IN ZAGREB by Adam Medvidović is the most important book ever. It is the best chronicle ever according to prevelant opinion of readers and critiques.

So basically its non fiction written in a form of a novel, so called FACTION,
If you are Catholic then you must of heard for third secret of Fatima and Our Lady request for consecration of Russia, and all the problems that follow this question. Anyway there are few theories how this book came to be.
1. Cardinals of the church hired few writers to reveal third secret of Fatima in a form of a novel, and therefore they created fictional writer "Adam Medvidović". Malachy Martin was doing the same thing and got killed because of it. So, normal revelation is not on a menu, and they developed (true church) a way of communication, and exchange of informations through novels.
2. Adam Jure - who was Vatican secret agent - wrote this, pretty much for the same reasons as explained in 1. and his series got deleted while he got killed. They slit his throat and throw him in the river. Then his devotees (or whoever is doing it...) republished first of his books in the series under pen name Adam Medvidović.
3. Writing community is republishing his books, protecting the freedom of speech, and Book Hangout spot recently got shut down because of it.
That is this...

I find your post rather confusing and I'm not sure what your point is. I've looked up Đavolja noć (Night in Zagreb) on Amazon, where it is readily available, indeed free with Kindle Unlimited. I like spy thrillers, but the official blurb on Amazon is very poorly written and doesn't encourage me to read it (even for free). There are only two readers' reviews on Amazon, one positive, one very negative. You appear to be the only LT member who has it, and there are no reviews on LT. I've glanced at the first few pages which can be viewed on Amazon and I have to say I agree with the Amazon reviewer who wrote, "This book needs editing...badly. narrative-story editing, copy editing, proofreading...etc. It is so clumsily written it was very difficult to follow or discern a plot. Messages of faith intermixed with references to graphic sexuality/pornographic acts." A book which begins with three devils masturbating while walking through the streets of Zagreb and continues with masturbatory fantasies of gang rape certainly isn't my cup of tea, and I suspect it won't get much traction with a Christian readership.

>2 John5918: Did you read the articles I sended in opening post?
Its purpously written in hard language, because Malachy Martin was killed for writing this kind of novels where he was revealing intrigues from the third secret of Fatima, so the authors tried to make the book look wordly as possibble, to make it functional channel machine, and not to make it look Christians talking about Christianity. But when you go deeper into book one can see that its truly a Christian book, with beautiful revelations and insights on divine mercy from the sister Faustina Kowalska. And its also a great book in literall sense. It has vulgar language, but its not vulgar more then, lets say, Stephen King. Nothing special. And this author "Jure" was also killed (probably, one of theories), while Medvidović is a non-existant person, despite "virtual online presence"
I also read second part years ago, but I cant find that part anywhere now. I never managed to get the third and the fourth part.
They are republishing this book for two decades, under various names. It doesnt last long when it is in the eter. It gets deleted. The book holds truly disturbing insights on the third secret of Fatima, and the future plans of the wicked man against Church and humanity.

>5 Diamondhead:
It's written very poorly and clumsily, and the sexual content is not simply "hard language" but is gratuitous and unnecessary, all of which might explain why it's not popular. Any number of would-be authors have started writing spy and detective thriller series which have petered out because readers have given up during or after reading the first one. I can't find the original date of publication (Amazon only gives January 2023, which is presumably the date someone made an e-version or a reprint), but if "they" (who is "they", incidentally?) have "been republishing this book for two decades" it suggests that it originally came out before e-books were common, so it was probably a hard copy. Probably a fairly small print run, maybe a small publisher, and in those days unsold copies of failed books were often pulped, but you might have more luck searching out-of-print and secondhand booksellers.
The fact that it is not popular even after being republished is probably because it's rubbish, not because of some huge Vatican conspiracy. Many Christian churches opposed the publication of the Harry Potter series and look where that got them, so it's unlikely that they would put any effort into suppressing a book which was obviously going to get no traction anyway.
Yes, I did try to read the links which you posted, but they are as incoherent as the book itself. Unsubstantiated fantasy and conspiracy theories. I looked up Malachy Martin and discovered that he died aged 78 from injuries sustained in a fall in his own apartment - being pushed from a stool by a demonic force, as some apparently claimed, would not count as being "killed for writing this kind of novel" in most people's minds nor in most police jurisdictions. I've also looked up Adam Jure and all I can find is that it's a pseudonym for the author of Night in Zagreb.
Conspiracy theories by definition make no sense and it's generally fruitless making rational arguments against them, but has it ever occurred to you to ask why accomplished and hugely popular writers of fiction which criticises and claims to expose secrets of the Catholic Church, such as Dan Brown, Andrew Greeley and many others, get away with it and are not being targeted by demonic forces at the behest of the Vatican hierarchy?
Incidentally, mentioning Tolkien in the same breath as these conspiracy theorists doesn't boost the credibility of your assertions.

>6 John5918: It si written in magnificant way. You judge the book you didnt read based on agenda review thats working on suppresing the book.
Putting popular garbage like Dan Brown in the same cant with this is laughable. Dan Brown is ridicoulus pointless conspiracy theory with no ground in Christianity. Harry Potter is teaching people to cast spells, this book teaches people how to use prayer, especially the souls whose salvation is at stake, so the dark parts in the book are apsolutly necceseary to describe the darkness of the souls on whom everybody gave up, but God didnt gave up on their salvation. This book is influenced and inspired with true Catholicism that is more and more being suppresed as the book itself.
Today wast majority of Catholics dont know that there was battle with demonic entities in psyhical form, all this may seem to uneducated mind as conspiracy theory, when they read it in the book, but the book is actually waging a war against the "great deception" falling over mankind in the last days. Book warns on demonic invasion prophecied by the Blesseds, and how this demonic drugs like DMT are gateways to demonic realms, etc... all of this may seem to someone as non-christian material, while in reality its other way around, and we are curentlly watching dechristinatization of Christianity, lasting for century already...
Finally Pope said nothing against the book, when asked about it in CNN...
To be known - I completely disagree with you, but its still forgivable in your case, because you didnt even read the book.

True, I haven't read the book, but I read several pages which are viewable on the Amazon website, and that was enough to convince me that the book is incoherent, very poorly and clumsily written - unless it suddenly changes to a literate and readable style around page twenty, perhaps? It hasn't been suppressed, it's available on Amazon. If the further parts of the series are as bad as the first one, it's no surprise that they haven't been republished.
Pope said nothing against the book, when asked about it in CNN
Like just about everybody else in the world, the pope has probably never heard of it, so no surprise that he doesn't comment. If you were to ask him about the latest title from some trashy Mills and Boone romance writer he'd probably also say nothing.

Are you not reading what I wrote? I told you I read the beginning of the book, which is viewable on Amazon. The reason they do that is so people can get a feel for a book and decide whether or not it's worth buying. These pages were incoherent, poorly written, pornographic - enough to convince me not to waste my time reading the rest of the book. Call me old fashioned, but I'm not very interested in masturbatory fantasies about gang rape. Neither do I read rambling rants based on conspiracy theories. As I said, maybe it changes after the first twenty pages and suddenly becomes totally different - readable, literate, coherent - but I somehow doubt it. I would venture to suggest that this is why the book failed. Very few people would want to read such a messy text. The rather incoherent links that you directed me to don't help your case. And from what I've seen of Christian fiction, I don't see Christians rushing to read it.
Look, if he really felt he had an important message to tell the world, he'd have done better to write about it coherently, and also to get a good editor. Why not write a simple non-fiction account, without any masturbating demons in it?
But basically let's just agree to disagree. I think it's rubbish, you think it's wonderful. Thank God for diversity.

Trolling? Or simply viewing it through a different lens and disagreeing with you? I know you're a newcomer (and welcome to LibraryThing, incidentally), but this is LibraryThing Talk, a forum for conversations, which implies there will be differing views, and disagreements about them, all of which is perfectly legitimate and indeed healthy as long as it complies with LT's Terms of Service. You might want to look around a bit at other LT groups and conversations and get a feel for the dynamics before you start accusing someone of trolling because they have a different viewpoint from you about a book. LT is primarily a website for cataloguing books, and I'm sure we'll all be interested to see what other books you have apart from this one, which so far is the only one you've got round to entering in your catalogue.

You think that Davolja Noc is the most important book in human history apart from the bible. I don't, and we're having a conversation about it. At least your important book is getting some visibility amongst people who had probably never heard of it before. Let them judge. We agree to disagree.
