I know that this is out of topic, somewhat, but are any of you on this forum still listening to turntables and enjoy sound of records when heard through speakers or through headphones?
In the world of digitalization, we still enjoy the feel of paper and physical books. Do you also prefer the old analogue sound to digitalized, processed, and condensed audio we get so easily from youtube, spotify, etc.?
You can already guess my personal preferences from my questions. :)

I got a bit into the audiophile scene years ago. It’s an expensive but very satisfying hobby… especially when one gets into the lesser known hi-fi companies.
No vinyl though. My inputs are a SACD and Sonos for streaming (which in retrospect I kind of regret).
I remember my ideal setup was to be a naim xs amp with BBC Harberth speakers but back then Naim wouldn’t send their products to customers who didn’t visit a shop in person and listen for themselves!
Warm sound and vinyl makes me guess you have or wish for a tube amplifier…

I have around 500 vinyl records and 400 CDs. I listen to both as well as stream. I still regret tossing my old Dual turntable when it last broke down 30 years ago. Our 45 year old B&O speakers have held up well. Amps keep failing and modern amps no longer have a phono input so it’s back to the old days of a separate pre-amp. My adult kids never had records, have tossed their CDs and only stream.

On the other hand, my teenage daughter asked us last summer to buy her a turntable for her birthday and has started a modest collection of vinyl records of her own - a mixture of very recent releases and historic recordings. I think that young people are interested in this listening experience now.

Nope, I do not wish for a tube amplifier. :) But I do enjoy warm sound of records coming through a vintage Yamaha stereo receiver.

I have over 800 vinyl records and don't know how many CDs I have right now, most of my CDs I've burned and stored on an internal server. I got back into collecting about a year ago when I started to set up my sound system. I wanted to set up a simple system and quickly fell down the rabbit hole. I use Marantz components with Denon speakers, an Audio-Technica turntable, and a Music Hall phono pre-amp.

I have a record collection of over 700 and love the sound of vinyl on a turntable, so yes to all your questions. During Covid, I catalogued them all on Discogs which has made it a lot easier to view my collection......

Just got back from Germany and Denmark, where managed a little crate digging, I’m in process of putting them in LT, started a separate collection for my classical vinyl, I have about 200 LPs, after purging a couple years ago

I have about 5,000 LPs, which I've been collecting since I started buying records around 1968, when I was 13. First record, which I still have: Time Peace: The Rascals Greatest Hits. I love them.

I am glad to hear that many of you still enjoy the sound of vinyl records. I do not know how many I have - there are many, and my mother-in-law has at least three times more records that we do (mostly classical) and listens to them often.
A sound of vinyl through a decent turntable and sound system is a very enjoyable experience.
It does not substitute live concert sound, of course. :)
