Found: friends stage missing person

Looking for a YA book with a fingerprint on the cover. It's about 2 friends, both girls, who realize that people who have gone missing get scholarships and other things by the media when they're found. So both of them decide to stage Girl B's disappearance by having her go in hiding Girl A's relative's cabin in the woods for a week or two. Girl A visits to bring her food and stuff but they fight a bit and Girl B gets 'found' and claims not to remember anything. They don't wind up friends afterwards.
