Ya fantasy town expirment

Teenagers grew up in a town. They found out they were apart of an experiment. It left them all with powers. The main character was a girl who could turn into a jaguar. It was part of a series and I read in 2015-16 ish.

Mergers, maybe?

Makes me think of the virals series by Kathy reichs. But I'm not sure there were jaguars involved...
