SqueakyChu's Big Fat Books

I can't believe I'm doing this! I NEVER read big fat books, but now I'm reading two at once. The second book fits NOWHERE in this month's TIOLI challenges, so I wanted a challenge into which it would fit. I found this challenge. Hurray! At least I don't have a time limit. Heh!

Here are the big fat books I'm currently reading (a little at a time).
1. Carrion Comfort - Dan Simmons - 249/767 pages = 32%
2. Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America - Ibram X. Kendi - 41/582 = 14%

I can't guarantee I'll read any more after I finish these two, though. Both of these are fascinating (obviously in different ways).

My ultimate goal is to some day start AND finish Moby Dick. I love that book although I've only read the first half of it twice. One day I hope to start it again and read through the whole book. If I do, I might do it right here on this challenge! :D

Sorry, folks. I’m bailing on my other big fat books. Maybe I’ll get back to them some day. I just wanted to read some other, shorter books that I can actually finish.
