Here’s a link to a 2015 lecture that is basically a history of Tudor history. It’s delivered by Eamon Duffy. He mentions Sir Thomas More’s Apology and Foxe’s Book of Martyrs. Then he goes thru Gilbert Burnet’s 17th century, History of the Reformation of the Church of England, and John Lingard’s 19th century books from a Catholic point of view. He mentions James Anthony Froude, Albert Pollard, A. G. Dickens, and, of course, Geoffrey Elton.

What’s obvious from the lecture is how difficult it is to find an objective history of the Tudor era. I think the same thing most likely applies to Reformation history as a whole. For, of course, the same reasons.
