What kind of school librarian decides an easy way to interpret policy is just remove everything published before 2008? Half the collection is gone, and the titles lost are ridiculous. How does that help anyone?

Even worse, removed books can't be donated because they are "not suitable for any learners". At that point you're telling everyone including ME what I can't read.

>1 Cecrow: I saw an awful lot of books removed form the public library, not jut the school library, during the lockdown.
I had about 90 books on my For Later shelf. Thee are books that were referenced by authors I was reading, and suggested for further research..
Some had been on the list for a few years, some were fairly new.

I noticed suddenly that about 20 books, all in the area of alternative research or "fake science", like ancient civilizations, or UFO or other things not approved by academia, were suddenly removed from the library. Massive emptying of shelves.

I all "censorship"
