No, me personally, Heaven Official's Blessing (no it isn't Christian, the name of the series doesn't work well with the plot) was originally a novel series, but the Manhua is quite literally the most beautiful I have ever seen. From the characters themselves to the background art. The Heaven Official's Blessing Manhua is beautiful and tells the story without taking out any parts/ scenes from the original books. Highly recommend.

Too funny.

The central character* is an official from Heaven. That's his primary role in the story world. His approval, encouragement, gifts, and moments of happiness in the series are all key points to the story's plot. The title fits very well.

Anyway, I recommend any version of the series to whoever might like that it's queerly romantic (minor spoiler: the MC appears to be a demisexual gay person learning awkwardly about himself and about the world with the help of a love interest 800 years into their existence) and that it's full of action and dark** comedy and supernatural mystery.

The animation (in its second season) is currently available at Crunchyroll. The final volume of the English-language illustrated novel series is scheduled for release soon from Seven Seas.

(* Xie Lian is based on a real-life Chinese god who lives in the mortal realm instead of the heavenly real to help people directly. The Chinese heaven is likely familiar to a billion living people unfamiliar with Christian concepts of heaven.)

((** ETA: There are Horror elements throughout. The story is gorey and gruesome at times. Tragic endings for side characters are the norm.
