I'm really delighted there's a new series of 'Natalie Haynes Stands Up for the Classics', BBC Radio 4's classics/comedy mash-up, starting today with Martial, with guests, classics professor Llewelyn Morgan and comedian Robin Ince, the other half of 'The Infinite Monkey Cage'.
Other episodes this series - series 9 !! - are Demeter, Athene and Livia (none of them LT authors).
Previous episodes are available on BBC Sounds at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b077x8pc (geographical limitations may apply, but didn't I read somewhere that the BBC had thrown BBC Sounds open worldwide?) Heartily recommended.

Only three episodes are being advertised this time: Cleopatra, Hesiod and Aphrodite, only one of whom is an LT author. The Cleopatra episode (available now) is well worth thirty minutes of anyone's time, including Natalie's overview of "history's most forgettable man", Lepidus.
