As a teenager in the late 70s, I greatly enjoyed this book. I have some that old beatup copy in some bookcase still.
And while this is a bit on the expensive side for EP, I think I'll bite, and I hope they do the entire trilogy.

I have all 10 Thomas Covenant books in hard cover. One of my favourite series. I’ll have to think about this one.

I just received a reply from EP customer service. I had asked them when they would be publishing The Illearth War and The Power that Preserves and they replied that they have no plans to do so at this time but would send my suggestion on to those who make these sorts of decisions.

If it is anything like the recent Masterpieces of Science Fiction, the frontispiece is hit and miss whether or not they include one. Although the end papers are higher quality (moire, is that what it is called?).

I believe the ends are silk and the pattern they've been given is a moire.

>6 treereader: Thanks! I finally took the time to Google that and now I understand what it means. I never realized it is the pattern that is moire and the material is silk.

No problem! You know, we’re just a bunch of motley ruffians and hooligans here, with our own jargon and slang and everything. We get lazy and just refer to the moire, probably because it’s the most defining feature of the end “papers”. (Certainly ain’t the color!)
