About My Library: I enjoy reading and collecting books. As usual, my bookcases are too full, and I need to find yet more wall space. I enjoy classics and early 20th century authors. I collect Folio Society, Modern Library, Landmark, Easton Press, Gnome Press, Shasta, FPCI, and other books that catch my fancy. I greatly enjoy juvenile fiction -- such as A. Ransome's Swallows & Amazons series, E. Kyle, M. Twain, R.L. Stevenson, etc -- books that youths and adults both enjoy. I enjoy early heroic fantasy and science fiction, from the 1920's through the 1950's. I enjoy the American novelists up through the 1950's -- Steinbeck, Hemingway, Faulkner, and others.
About Me: My home is in Albany, Oregon, USA. I live in an older (1886) house, with my wonderful wife, three daughters, one grand-daughter, and various sorts of pets.
