- About Me
- Printmaker, painter, private press owner. I work to make handmade, letterpress books, using the traditional craft skills of metal type and relief prints on made on an 1846 Albion hand press. Working mostly with acrylic engravings and lino, I also bind my own books and am seeking to find collectors of my new imprint: Awen Press. I first learned to print 25 years ago, whilst juggling single parenthood and a full time job as a warden of nature reserves in England. After a Fine Arts degree and further work as a community artist, I caught the typographical bug in about 2017. Married to publisher and printer Graham Moss of Incline Press, we are currently working to move our workshop to Scotland to keep making books and teach letterpress and traditional book making skills.
