Found: Murder mystery historic fiction set in a radio station

I recall a book published in the last 15 years in the US by a major publisher. It was written by a woman and the major protagonist was also a woman. It was a murder mystery set in a radio station in the 1930s or 1940s. But I can't recall the author or the title. I believe this was her first novel and she went on to write a sequel.

This might be The Darkness Knows by Cheryl Honigford: it's a historical mystery with a female protagonist who works at a radio station in 1938. The book was published in 2016 and has two sequels.
