There's an explanation and list of online stores in the linked post.
I found out that Rightstuf is redirecting to Sony's Crunchyroll Store when I went there looking for books today. It's disappointing. Crunchyroll's selection is as limited as everyone thought it would be when Rightstuf celebrated its big anniversary by selling our accounts without prior notice. (Yeah, I'm still angry about that.)
Robert's Anime Corner Store stopped loading for me, and I don't know why. Barnes & Noble is a pain to deal with because of their pushy marketing that makes searching slow and purchasing a security risk. Better World Books uses annoying stickers that damage covers and doesn't confirm the quality of their books, making them a place to go only when desperate for used books; nice as an option but not preferred.
I suspect the indie stores in my physical region order from Amazon.com, which... ew. Their prices are also usually too high those of us who can't pick up in-store. (edit: I might have been wrong about suppliers.)
I'm unfamiliar with the new stores in That Manga Hunter's post. Has anyone here tried them or another store recently?
(I am posting to this group despite its current state because I'm too tired to log in elsewhere at the moment.)

>3 littlebodybigspiders: I really want nothing to do with Amazon. The way that company has partial ownership of LibraryThing adds to my discomfort here.
There's sadly few other options, though. Amazon was largely successful in destroying competition.
>2 Snapped_Fingers9: There's no manga in Otaku Store.
(╥﹏╥)
