My collection of books on or directly related to Venice in the English language (mostly) has finally outgrown the bookcase and the 2 display shelves allocated to it. Time to find more shelf space.

You need to buy A History of Venice in Painting. It's superb. See https://www.flickr.com/photos/warwick_carter/49968735516/in/album-72157663862723...

What's really interesting is that you have 102 books tagged "Venice", and I have 103, yet we share only 18 books (and a couple are not about Venice).
Which probably means we both need to go acquire more books.

>2 wcarter: thanks for the tip! Already have that one. It’s the big horizontal red one. And yes, it’s a stunning book.

One can never have too many bookshelves.
I have little interest in Venice, but it's a beautiful looking collection, and lovingly tended.

Congratulations on such a beautiful collection!
It looks like you might enjoy owing a copy of Venetian Story by Byron from Allen Press. It has reprints of many engravings with various views of Venice - a gorgeous edition.
