Suggestion for formatting canonical name for movies

Standard practice seems to be to add TITLE [YEAR FILM] to movies, but the brackets interfere with touchstones. I've been entering TITLE {YEAR FILM} instead and was wondering if others would be willing to adopt the format.

I use and prefer curly brackets for the same reason, but I haven't been editing any I find using square brackets.

Oof. Didn't realise my practise of using square brackets (though offset with a blank between each bracket and text) was a problem in this way. Is the problem only when following that format in Chat, or does using it in the Title field for a work also create problems?

Sample of my typical film entry: Film Title { DIGITAL STREAM }, but with square brackets. Touchstones don't come up when entering in the Title field, but of course they do here in Chat. (Note that I use another account than the one I'm using now, for audio-visual media.)

ETA: And this is only a suggestion for the canonical title CK field; people can obviously still enter titles however they want for their own libraries.
