Like the title says I'm looking for a YA novel from at least 10-15 years ago about a popular high school girl who wakes up in the hospital after an accident and doesn't remember that it was her psychopathic best friend who tried to kill her.

Most of the book plays in the hospital as she recovers and you learn about her life and her friend group through flashbacks. Her friend group consists of three girls including herself one of which is her psychopathic would-be killer. That friend also hurt her grandfather by pushing him down the stairs to keep her grandparents subservient to her, since they are rich and her main caretakers.

Her other friend is a closeted lesbian and she and the protagonist made out one time during the holidays. But the protagonist regrets it and pretends she doesn't remember which is putting a wedge between them. I think I remember that the friend's name is Kate and that in the end, she gets her happy end by finding a girlfriend and dating openly.

There is also a romance subplot for the protagonist who ends up with one of the male nurses.

The three friends were a bit of a mean girl troupe if I remember correctly and the psychopath tried to kill the protagonist because she was slowly moving away from the friend group.

Originally the protagonist was the psychopath's "fixer-upper" because when they met the protagonist was crying in the bathroom of her new school because her then-boyfriend had broken up with her and she had gotten a terrible haircut in response. I think the psychopath told her she looked like a burger, but took her in to become friends with her and helped her become pretty and popular, so she took it as an insult when the protagonist started to become distant.

One other thing I remember is a line by a completely different girl who told the protagonist that her lesbian friend carries darkness in her eyes (probably referencing how depressed she was because she was closeted) and how her psychopath friend has nothing in her eyes at all.

I think in the end as she gets her memories back her psychopath friend tries to finish the job, but fails due to the male nurse that the protagonist ends up dating.

I know this is a lot, but I hope it was specific enough that someone remembers it. Any help would be appreciated!

Just in case anyone else is looking for it: it's Rosebush by Michele Jaffe. Someone found it when I asked on a different site.
