Great photos, but worth emphasizing this is a large folio. The effect is quite striking in person.
Additionally, the Bradel binding is somewhat unique. The page gatherings are attached to titanium (if I recall correctly) rods, which helps the pages lay flat.
Just based on a description of the content (Thomas Paine selections) and design (Bradel cloth bound folio), it probably wouldn't have been a volume I would have sought out, but being a subscriber to the press I'm glad I have it; the whole really is more than the sum of the parts.

I have only had it for three days and not read it yet.
Beautiful paper and printing though.
There is no pattern to Foolscap books, they are all very different and beautiful in their own ways.
