For folks who may not be following the fine press forum.

Very nice editions which may be of interest. Foundation dropped yesterday, but there are others which may be of interest to folks.

>1 sdawson: thank you. Picked up Foundation. Letterpress for that price with premium materials and a large book too. Can’t go wrong

Thank you for sharing, @sdawson.

I'm quite often late to releases of this nature. For instance, I would typically only learn of this edition with the release of the second book. Therefore, since I am able to purchase the first book, and this also secures me rights to the second book when it launches, I decided to purchase a copy.

I also mirror @curiousbooks's appreciation of letterpress and premium materials at this price point.

I also picked up Foundation, and ordered the standard edition of Peter Pan a month or more ago. I passed on Flowers for Algernon, which is now sold out. These will be my first two books from CTP. I am looking forward to them.

>5 sdawson: congrats. I have Peter Pan and Wendy first edition so I passed on this one. Only purchased Foundation. First time buying from Conversation press too and it’s only because the price was reasonable

Followup, I received the standard state Peter Pan, this week, and it is a beautiful production. Design, setting, paper, binding, slipcover, all are great. It is letterpress for those who seek that out, and signed by the artist.

I am at an age where I am getting rid of books, so I am selective as to what I keep. Thus I rarely get another edition of a book I already own, but I made an exception here, and am glad I did.

This is one of those books which, when it is gone, folks will kick themselves for missing it (as I am already for passing on their Treasure Island). But I have Foundation to look forward to.

Oh, and Solaris will be their next publication, with orders in November.

>8 sdawson:. Glad you liked your books from CTP. I’m done buying for now because of my budget.

Solaris dropped. Deluxe edition sold out in a minute.

Less expensive, collector's edition is still there, but snag it soon if you want it. It will join Foundation on the sold out list soon I expect.

Very happy to have ordered a Collector's Edition. My only regret CTP's decision to switch the black and white illustrations from letterpress to lithography, but I do understand their concerns about grayscale and trust them to have picked the method with the best results. I just love a good black and white letterpress illo.

>12 ambyrglow: me too. Have several books in my collection with letterpress black and white illustrations. You can feel the texture of it

Congratulations folks. I too purchased the collector's edition. Will be my 3rd CTP book.

I'm sad I missed on the Deluxe Solaris. If anyone should want to trade their copy in the future, please let me know.

>17 astropi:, the Deluxe edition sold out in one minute -- you are not alone, if that is any comfort. The Collector's edition looks fantastic.

Oh, and the Collectors editions is down to 11 copies this morning. If folks are on the fence, now is the time.

And gone.
