I've found it difficult to sort my books in a certain order especially for each series. I've been doing Author and the a secondary sort of input date. The issue is when I get new books I have to erase the other ones and input them all over again. I was hoping there was a way to edit the input date. Any advice would be appreciated.

Entry date is locked based on the you entered the book. System date that can't be changed.
However, there is the Date Acquired field, which you can enter and change.

Another option is to put author and series name into the tag field (as the first few tags) and sort on tags.

The input date is for the date the book was added to LT and is used by LT itself so can't be changed. I think the date field you should use is acquisition date for when you acquired the book

In case you're not aware, you can change what columns are included in your catalogue view by clicking the "settings" button on your catalogue page, and then dragging items from the right hand side into your preferred view (or dragging them out). Don't forget to save at the end.

Clicking on a column heading sorts it low-high; clicking again sorts it high-low.
