Hi, I'm looking for a bookseries I read in my youth, between 2007 and 2015. The book was set in today's world, as far as I remember (but the details are very blury). Not sure if they already had smartphones. I borrowed the books from a library so I don't remember when they were published. I remember the following details:
- Group of friends, possibly around the age of 13?
- Mystery? I think it was doors and/or keys, and if you'd open them, you'd land somewhere new.
- I distinctly remember in the last few books there was a female antagonist that wanted to steal the doors? or keys? or system? to open a travel agency to travel to italy e.g. during the Renaissance. The target group were women that felt too fat for modern day society and wanted to experience being attractive, because in other time periods, fat people were deemed more attractive.
- There was one book were I think the cover was a man in a scuba suit (the ones in metal, where there's a cross at the front) or maybe a lighthouse? in that book, the adult helper of the kids was diving and for some reason there was a situation he needed to tend asap and I remember the suspense was high because he needed to come back up while respecting the diving caps, as in if he came up too fast he'd pass out because of the oxygen in his blood being to much or sth like that.
Thank you for your help!

Ok I'll thank myself, I read through some of the other topics and tried different search methods and found the books!
The series is called Ulysses Moore :) In hindsight I don't think I read aaaall of the books.. but yeah, I recommend it for kids and tweens, I remember I really liked it.
