I've been a member here for 11 years but have imported my books only once before, back in 2013. I hope it's ok to post here. Please direct me to another group if not.
See title. In reality I'm currently reading two books. Is there an efficient way--say, a "batch edit" option--to get these hundreds of others off the CR shelf and where they belong?

Yes. Use the Power Edit feature. It’s the yellow, vaguely lightning-bolt-looking symbol in your catalogue. Select your “currently reading” collection (I assume that’s what you mean by “shelf”), then Power Edit, choose “collections”. You can select all or some of the books and remove them from Currently Reading and add them somewhere else.

>1 Caroline77: Yes, use the power edit - the lightning icon in the top row of your catalogue. Choose 'Currently reading' collection and mark all but the 2 that belong there. Depending on whether they are already is some other collection, move or remove from Currently reading. (Books have to be in at least 1 collection) Close power edit when done.
